Lauer Roughed Up in Brewers 6-2 Loss to Dodgers

Milwaukee Brewers Starter Eric Lauer didn't have his best stuff from the very first batter on Tuesday night and that led to a 6-2 loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

On the second pitch of the game, Mookie Betts hit a solo home run to open up the scoring. The Dodgers added another run in the inning to take a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the first frame.

Los Angeles scored a run in the second and third innings to extend the lead to 4-0. Lauer exited with two outs in the fourth inning. Finishing with three earned runs against him.

In the sixth inning, a two-run home run by Miguel Vargas gave the Dodgers a 6-0 lead.

However, the Brewers answered back in the bottom of the seventh inning with solo home runs by Rowdy Tellez (10) and Victor Caratini (2). That cut the deficit to 6-2.

Despite more chances, neither team would score again. The Brewers fell to the Dodgers 6-2.

The Brewers are 20-16. The series finale against the Dodgers will start at 12:40pm on Wednesday afternoon at American Family Field. Join Tim Allen, Drew, and KB for the postgame show after the game on 97.3 The Game in Milwaukee, Fox Sports 1070 The Game in Madison, and the iHeart Radio App.
