Brewers Drop 5th Straight, Lose 6-4 To Giants

The Milwaukee Brewers lost their fifth straight game on Friday night. The defeat came at the hands of the San Francisco Giants by a score of 6-4.

The Brewers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Giants responded right away with two runs in the bottom of the first inning against Corbin Burnes. The game was tied at two until the fifth inning.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Brewers got leadoff hits from Tyrone Taylor and Joey Wiemer. Both scored to give the Brewers a 4-2 lead. But like earlier in the game, the lead didn’t last long.

The Giants scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, including a two-RBI single from Joc Pederson. The Giants led 5-4 after five innings.

The Brewers bats were kept silent the rest of the way. The Giants added another run in the eighth inning against Hoby Milner when Wilmer Flores hit a solo home run. That gave the Giants a 6-4 lead. That would be the final.
