Injuries Catching Up with the Crew in 4-0 loss to Padres

With Willy Adames, Hunter Renfroe, Omar Narvaez, and Luis Urias all out due to injury or COVID, the Brewers offense continued to struggle on Saturday in their 4-0 loss to the Padres.

After getting just one hit on Friday night, the Brewers offense mustered up six hits on Saturday afternoon, but left nine runners on base. MacKenzie Gore struck out ten Brewers batters through his six innings of work for the Padres.

Aaron Ashby threw over 70% of his pitches for strikes and struck out nine Padres in the loss. The rare mistakes that Ashby made, the Padres took advantage of. Jake Cronenworth had 3 RBI's on a double and a two-run home run. That home run was part of a three-run fifth inning for the Padres to put them up 4-0.

The Brewers will play their 18th game in 17 days and try to split the series with San Diego on Sunday at AmFam Field at 1:10pm.
