Los Angeles swept Milwaukee 2-0 in the National League Wild Card Series with a 3-0 win on Thursday night, eliminating the Brewers from the postseason.
Milwaukee mustered four hits in the contest against Clayton Kershaw, who went eight strong in the Dodgers' combined shutout of the Brewers. Brusdar Graterol tossed the final inning for L.A., earning the save.
All of the Dodgers' runs came in the bottom of the fifth inning, knocking Brewers starter Brandon Woodruff from the game. Josh Hader got Milwaukee out of the inning, but the damage had already been done.
Milwaukee had gone 29-31 in the regular season, entering the NL Playoffs as the #8 seed against the heavily-favored Dodgers.
