A historic streak was halted on Saturday night.
Josh Hader gave up the game-winning hit in the bottom of the ninth inning as Cleveland took a 4-3 victory over the Brewers Saturday night.
Hader gave up two hits in the ninth inning, ending his hitless streak to begin the season, and the second one, a single by Cesar Hernandez, scored the walk-off winning run.
Oscar Mercado broke up the hitless streak and scored the winning run on the single by Hernandez.
Prior to the ninth inning, the Brewers had struck out 15 Cleveland batters.
Game 3 of the series is Sunday afternoon in Cleveland.
