Brewers take down Cleveland 7-1 Friday night

Corbin Burnes turned in six strong innings, Keston Hiura went yard, and the Milwaukee Brewers defeated Cleveland 7-1 on Friday night to being their five-game road trip.

Hiura hit his 10th home run of the season, leading the Brewers, knocking in three runs on a pair of hits and scoring two runs of his own.

Burnes allowed just three hits and one unearned run in his six innings of work. Brent Suter and Alex Claudio combined for three shutout innings to keep the Brewers in front.

Milwaukee plays at Cleveland Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon before getting a day off, then play Detroit for a pair of games mid-week.
