Devin Williams and Josh Hader tossed six straight strikeouts to close out the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday night in the Milwaukee Brewers' 6-5 victory at Miller Park.
All told, Brewers pitchers tossed 15 strikeouts from five different pitchers, led by four from Williams.
Orlando Arcia got the go-ahead base hit in the bottom of the eighth to break the tie and pushed Milwaukee ahead going to the top of the ninth inning.
With the win, the Brewers took the four-game series from the Pirates three games to one. Milwaukee now hosts the Detroit Tigers for two games to wrap up a 10-game homestand, with the first game Tuesday night at Miller Park.
