Milwaukee's pitching fell behind early and often as the Minnesota Twins put up a dozen runs on the Brewers in Wednesday's 12-2 shellacking at Miller Park.
Eric Lauer allowed seven runs, Justin Grimm gave up four more in relief, and eventually the Brewers turned to infielder Jed Gyorko to take the mound in a blowout loss that punctuated the home woes for the Brewers.
Minnesota piled up 15 hits in the victory, taking the series two games to one.
Next up for the Brewers is a four-game series at Wrigley Field against the NL Central-leading Chicago Cubs, beginning Thursday night at 6:10 p.m.
