It was the opening weekend of the MLB season, and the Milwaukee Brewers went 1-2 as the delayed 2020 season resumed starting on Thursday.
Playing Friday through Sunday against the Chicago Cubs, the Brewers lost both Friday and Sunday, totaling just three hits in each of the games. The Cubs won Friday's game 3-0 and Sunday's contest 9-1.
In between those two losses, the Brewers got an 8-3 win over the Cubs Saturday, piling up 11 hits as the Brewers pulled away down the stretch.
Next up for the Brewers is a three-game series at Pittsburgh beginning Monday night.
