An improbable rally in the fourth game of the shortened 2020 season sparked joy for Milwaukee Brewers fans everywhere late Monday night.
Ryan Braun capped a four-run ninth inning with a two-RBI hit to send the game to extras, and Eric Sogard drove in the go-ahead run to cap the Brewers' big rally in a 6-5 win over the Pirates on Monday night.
Milwaukee trailed 5-1 entering the top of the ninth, but was able to complete the rally and win in the 11th inning.
David Phelps pitched two perfect innings in the 10th and 11th to earn the win for Milwaukee.
The three-game series resumes Tuesday night in Pittsburgh.
