Ryan Braun's ninth-inning grand slam gave the Brewers the runs they needed to come back and defeat St. Louis 7-6 on Sunday, as Milwaukee moved one game closer to the Cardinals in the NL Central standings after taking two of three games this weekend.
The home run made it 7-4, and the Cardinals got two runs back in the bottom of the ninth against Josh Hader, but Hader was able to complete the save.
Chase Anderson and Brent Suter combined to allow just one run over the first six innings of the contest.
Milwaukee is three games back of St. Louis in the division and one game back of the Chicago Cubs, who won their fourth straight game on Sunday, in the Wild Card.
