Rookie Trent Grisham launched a three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to put the Milwaukee Brewers on top 6-5, which ended up being the final score over the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday afternoon at Miller Park.
The Twins went up 2-0, 3-1, and 5-2 before the Brewers rallied. Gio Gonzalez allowed all five runs in three and two-thirds innings pitched. The bullpen allowed just one hit the rest of the way, although the ninth inning got interesting when Matt Albers walked three batters before the Twins flied out to end the game.
Milwaukee and Minnesota split the two-game series. The Brewers get Thursday off before playing at Washington Friday through Sunday.
