Adrian Houser struck out 10 batters over six innings as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Texas Rangers 3-2 on Saturday at Miller Park.
Houser allowed just three hits and one run in his outing. The bullpen gave up one additional run, but Matt Albers tossed a scoreless ninth to secure the victory.
Rookie Trent Grisham had three of the Brewers' nine hits, and Keston Hiura hit a home run as the Brewers won their fifth straight game.
The series finale is Sunday afternoon in Milwaukee as the Brewers go for the sweep.
