An obstruction call late in the Brewers' win over the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night proved to be the decisive run in a 4-3 victory for Milwaukee.
Travis Shaw and Trent Grisham got caught in dueling rundowns (by design) before Grisham got a run scored on an obstruction call. That run proved to be the difference as the Brewers gripped through another ninth inning bullpen session ahead of what will be a bullpen day on Wednesday night in Pittsburgh.
Chase Anderson worked into the sixth inning, giving up two runs, to help the Brewers take the series with Pittsburgh. Milwaukee goes for the sweep Wednesday night.
