The Brewers managed a series split with the Reds, winning their second in a row on Sunday 7-5 behind a strong effort from Brandon Woodruff and a monster home run from Travis Shaw.
Woodruff struck out 12 over seven innings and allowed just three runs in the winning effort.
Shaw's 465-foot blast helped the Brewers, who got a hit from every starting position player, spark some offense and pick up a key win heading into an off day.
Milwaukee plays Seattle Tuesday through Thursday at Miller Park before a weekend home series with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
