Yasmani Grandal's performance out of the leadoff spot helped lift the Milwaukee Brewers to a streak-snapping victory on Saturday afternoon, 6-5 over the Cincinnati Reds.
The All-Star Game Starter finalist homered to lead off the bottom of the first and drove in Ben Gamel in the bottom of the fourth to help the Brewers break a five-game losing streak.
In the same game, Christian Yelich saw his 18-game hitting streak end, although he walked and scored a run in the contest.
Josh Hader tossed a two-inning effort for the save.
Milwaukee goes for the series split on Sunday afternoon at Miller Park with Brandon Woodruff on the mound.
