Eric Thames and Jesus Aguilar homered to lead the Brewers past the Giants 5-3 on Sunday, as Milwaukee took one of the three games in the series with San Francisco.
Christian Yelich added two doubles, including one that left the ballpark through a gap in a fence. The play resulted in the Brewers not being able to send around Ben Gamel to score, as it was ruled a ground-rule double.
Chase Anderson left after pitching into the fifth inning, but Milwaukee's bullpen took it the rest of the way with five shutout innings.
The Brewers begin a three-game series at San Diego Monday night before returning home to face the Cincinnati Reds later this week.
