Orlando Arcia's two-run home run in the top of the eighth completed Milwaukee's rally from down 4-0 in the second inning to 5-4 winners over Minnesota on Monday night.
Milwaukee's win snapped Minnesota's six-game winning streak.
Gio Gonzalez got touched up for four runs and seven hits in four and two-thirds innings of work against the AL's top team, but the bullpen covered the remaining four and one-third innings scoreless, with Josh Hader earning a six-out save.
Including Arcia, the bottom of the Brewers' order got five of the team's six hits on the night.
The two-game series concludes Tuesday in Minnesota.
