A three-run bomb by Yasmani Grandal and Keston Hiura's successful debut highlighted the Milwaukee Brewers' 6-1 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday night, bouncing back from a Monday night loss.
Hiura had two hits and drew a walk in his major league debut. The highly-touted prospect was called up early in the morning on Tuesday.
Brandon Woodruff allowed just one hit in six innings of work, and Corbin Burnes pitched two solid innings to boost the Brewers defensively.
The six through nine spots in the batting order combined for eight of the Brewers' 12 hits on the evening.
The four-game series continues on Wednesday in Philadelphia.
