Christian Yelich hit a home run for the third straight game to start the season, the first time it's ever been done by a reigning MVP, and Josh Hader had a three-strikeout ninth inning to close out a 4-2 win by the Milwaukee Brewers over the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday night at Miller Park.
Milwaukee pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts in the victory. Brandon Woodruff got the start, pitching five innings with five strikeouts. Four pitchers, including Hader, allowed just one hit the rest of the game in four innings.
