Milwaukee will need to win their next two games in order to make the World Series following a 5-2 loss to Los Angeles in Game 5 of the NLCS. The Dodgers lead the Brewers in the best-of-seven series three games to two.
Several Brewers have struggled in the NLCS offensively, and Milwaukee could only muster five hits against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers bullpen. Milwaukee's own pitching allowed nine hits and walked four batters in the loss, as starter Wade Miley was pulled only one batter into the game.
Games 6 and 7 will be in Milwaukee on Friday and Saturday night. Milwaukee needs to win both to advance to the World Series. A loss game in either ends their season.
