Milwaukee Brewers announce NLDS roster

With the NLDS beginning today in Milwaukee, the Brewers announced their roster for the best-of-five series. Brandon Woodruff will start Game 1, and the Brewers will go with 11 pitchers and 14 position players in the series. Chase Anderson and Zach Davies are not on the 25-man roster.

Other notable players left off the initial postseason roster include Eric Thames, Xavier Cedeno, Dan Jennings, and Taylor Williams.

Milwaukee will have just three left-handed pitchers to face the Colorado Rockies in this series, and only one of those players is a bullpen arm (Josh Hader).

Jhoulys Chacin will start Game 2 on short rest.
