While Christian Yelich had the batting title wrapped up heading into Monday's Game 163, his 3-for-4 day against the Chicago Cubs brought his average up to .326 for the 2018 season and the first batting title in Milwaukee Brewers history.
Yelich had a key spot in the Brewers' 3-1 win over the Cubs to clinch the NL Central title, driving in the game's first run.
A 2018 MVP favorite, Yelich fell just short of a triple crown in batting.
