After falling behind by two runs, the Brewers scored five unanswered to beat the Reds 5-2 on Monday night in Milwaukee.
Travis Shaw hit a two-run home run to help lead the Brewers back to a big win over Cincinnati, part of a dozen hits Milwaukee racked up against Homer Bailey and the Reds on Monday night.
Chase Anderson gave up two runs in six innings. Josh Hader and Jeremy Jeffress combined for three scoreless innings to get the victory for Milwaukee. The Reds fell to 1-16 in games started by Homer Bailey.
The three-game series continues Tuesday in Milwaukee.
