Milwaukee's injury woes continue as left-handed pitcher Brent Suter has a torn UCL and will be placed on the disabled list.
The Brewers pitcher gave up six runs in three innings to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday, before leaving the game with what was described at the time as forearm tightness. Manager Craig Counsell said after the game it was the same injury he sustained earlier in the season, when Suter had to spend some time on the DL.
In the corresponding roster move, the Brewers recalled pitcher Jorge López from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Suter is expected to miss 12-15 months, and will need Tommy John surgery.
