MLB and the Milwaukee Brewers won't be suspending Josh Hader, and Dan Patrick believes that it's the right move, saying that the issues will be dealt with in the clubhouse.
After old tweets of Hader appeared during Tuesday night's MLB All Star Game, some of which had racist or homophobic remarks, MLB reacted quickly, getting Hader in front of reporters after the game and issuing a statement that will put Hader into sensitivity training and into diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Dan Patrick thinks this is the right call, given that what Hader will have to face from fans, the media, and his teammates in the meantime. Several teammates have already publicly supported Hader, including fellow All-Stars Lorenzo Cain and Jesus Aguilar.
