Milwaukee picked up an NL-high 29th victory as the Brewers beat Arizona 4-2 on Monday night, Milwaukee's eighth victory in 11 games.
All four of the Brewers' runs came on home runs hit off of former Milwaukee pitcher Zack Greinke. Travis Shaw (two-run home run, 1st inning), Domingo Santana (solo, 4th), and Lorenzo Cain (solo, 6th) provided the punch for the Brewers, with Shaw and Santana hitting their home runs with two outs in the inning.
Chase Anderson allowed three hits, including a 6th-inning home run, in six inning of work. Matt Albers, Jeremy Jeffress, and Corey Knebel closed out the game, giving up zero hits and striking out three combined. Knebel got his second save of the season.
The Brewers and Diamondbacks play again on Tuesday.
