A late surge against the Arizona Diamondbacks' bullpen gave the Milwaukee Brewers a 7-2 win on Monday night.
With the game tied at two apiece heading to the seventh, the Brewers were able to knock in five runs against one of the best bullpens in baseball to take the series-opening victory.
Jonathan Villar had three hits, three runs, and a home run. Tyler Saladino hit an inside-the-park home run in the victory as well.
Villar was a late addition to the lineup due to a back injury suffered by Ryan Braun.
Milwaukee has won four of the five games of their 10-game road trip so far.
