It was a tough Tuesday on the injury front for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt will miss the rest of the season with a career-threatening shoulder injury, while prospect Mauricio Dubon is out for the year with a torn ACL.
Vogt was transferred to the 60-day disabled list to open up a roster spot for utility player Nick Franklin, who will replace infielder Eric Sogard on the big league club.
In a bit of good injury news, Corey Knebel is expected to come off of the disabled list later this week. Knebel has missed most of the season with a hamstring injury.
