Zach Davies has inflammation in his right rotator cuff, so the Milwaukee Brewers placed him on the 10-day DL and tweaked their starting rotation for the upcoming five-game homestand.
Davies, who will be on the DL retroactive to April 30, is only expected to miss one start.
For the three-game series against the Pirates starting Friday, Milwaukee will start Junior Guerra on Friday, Jhoulys Chacín on Saturday, and Chase Anderson on Sunday.
For the two-game series against Cleveland next Tuesday and Wednesday, Wade Miley will start Tuesday with Guerra starting on Wednesday. Milwaukee has Monday off.
Davies would be eligible to return from the DL following the Cleveland series.
