The New York Jets have placed wide receiver Garrett Wilson on injured reserve due to the aggravation of a previous injury, which will rule him out for at least four games, including Thursday's (November 13) primetime game against the New England Patriots, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

"The #Jets have placed standout WR Garrett Wilson on Injured Reserve because of the aggravation of a previous knee injury. He’s out tonight vs the #Patriots and three additional games," Rapoport wrote on his X account.

ESPN's Rich Cimini had previously reported that Wilson was expected to miss at least three to four weeks due to the right knee sprain. The former Ohio State standout returned on Sunday (November 9) after missing two games due to an injury to the same knee, which he re-injured in the third quarter of the Jets' win against the Cleveland Browns.

Wilson underwent imaging tests on Monday (November 10) and a source told Cimini that he wouldn't need surgery. The Jets offense has struggled throughout the 2025 season, having been limited to just 169 total yards in Sunday's win, which included only 42 net passing yards, but are, however, coming off back-to-back wins entering their Thursday Night Football game in Week 11.
