Dierks Bentley Channels Dwight From 'The Office' In Hilarious 'Gone' Video

Dierks Bentley has just released the new music video for his song, "Gone," which features the country singer playing several different iconic TV characters from 13 shows including Full House, Game Of Thrones and The Office.

The track, written by Nicolle Galyon, Ben Johnson and Niko Moon, tells the story of a guy who's been down in the dumps, spending all his time at home after a breakup. In the video, Bentley brings this character to life as he sits on the couch and flips through channels on the TV where sees his own life play out before him.

The video alternates between footage of the country star performing the song with his band and funny clips of Bentley playing different characters such as MacGyver, Dwight Schrute from The Office and more.

"It just always ends poorly for me in this video. I definitely had a lot more fun making it than it looks though," the country star told People. "We got to film a bunch of scenes inspired by some of my favorite shows like The Office, MacGyver, Game of Thrones and Full House."

"And I got to collaborate with some new directors I've never worked with, so I left at the end of a really long day feeling really happy and inspired about a kind of sad song," he added.

The music video was shot in Nashville in November and produced by Lora Criner, Angie Lorenz and J.R Wilson, directed by Wes Edwards, Ed Pryor, Travis Nicholson, Running Bear and Sam Siske with animation by Skylar Wilson. "It may look like I’m just laying around… but 13 different characters later… well… you’ll see in the new music video #gone…" he wrote on Instagram alongside a teaser clip. "Out tomorrow. Can't wait for y'all to see it."

"Gone" is Bentley's first single since 2019's "Living." Check out the fun new video below!
