For the first time in competitive play, Jerry Kelly hit a hole-in-one on the 12th hole in the final round of the Bridgestone Senior Players Championship.
The shot helped Kelly to a two-stroke win over Scott Parel to claim his first-ever major championship.
Kelly shot three-under for the event and one-under for the round, punctuated by the ace on 12.
Kelly, in his fourth year on the PGA Champions Tour, was tied for the lead after the first round and stayed at or near the top of the leaderboard for the entire event.
Edgerton native Steve Stricker finished tied for 23rd.
