Forward Madison FC will officially kick off its 2020 home schedule on July 31 at Hart Park in Wauwatosa, the club announced Thursday. The Flamingos are set to start the USL League One season on the road, traveling to play North Texas SC on July 25 before returning to Wisconsin to face Greenville Triumph SC in the team’s first home match.
The Flamingos plan to release Hart Park-specific season ticket and half-season ticket packages after USL League One reveals its full 2020 schedule. Single-game tickets will go on sale Thursday, July 23 at 10 am. Current Forward Madison FC season ticket holders will be contacted in the next 24 hours about next steps; no action needs to be taken today.
Forward Madison announced last week that it will play its home games this season at Hart Park with a crowd limited to under 30 percent capacity. Forward Madison remains committed to hosting events that are responsible and taking the utmost precautions to keep its fans, players and staff safe.
Fan and stadium safety protocols are outlined in the club's COVID-19 Readiness Plan and include mandatory face masks in the facility, a socially distanced seat map and significantly reduced capacity. The club’s plan has been approved by the City of Wauwatosa’s Health Department.
USL League One’s Board of Governors voted earlier this month toreturn to play in 2020, with the first games kicking off on July 18.
