Black Hawk, the lone school representing all of southwestern and south central Wisconsin in the state football championships in Madison, beat Edgar 22-15 to take home the school's second state football championship. We catch up with their coach, Cory Milz, after his team took home the gold ball.
Milz told The Prep Report that there was a ton of support from the community coming back into town, including a pep rally back home in South Wayne. In the final game as a standalone program, Black Hawk capped off a 13-0 season with a title, their second overall, which includes a win in the 2013 championship game.
