Sun Prairie football coach Brian Kaminski joined Football Friday Night to talk about the Cardinals' big 43-35 win over Verona to stay one game back of Madison Memorial in the Big 8. The Cardinals have now won four in a row.
Sun Prairie has defeated 4-1 Janesville Craig and now 3-2 Verona as part of their four-game winning streak, and Kaminski attributes that to taking the season one game at a time. There was no point in getting low after losing to Madison Memorial in the opener, and no reason to get too high after shutting out Janesville Craig last week.
Sun Prairie still has a showdown with Middleton looming in Week 8, and will play La Follette in Week 6.
