Burt Hable's Clipboard is on the line when two-time defending city champ Madison West takes on Madison Memorial at Mansfield Stadium on Friday night.
It's our Game of the Week, and for West, it's an opportunity to get back into the playoff hunt and pull off a huge upset over a Spartans program that is rolling after a last-second walkoff win over Middleton last week. The Regents are very young this season, having graduated a number of standout student-athletes from last year's Level 3 team, but still bring back a few all-conference and all-city performers from 2017.
Coach Brad Murphy knows that there's a challenge ahead with the Memorial game, but that there's still plenty of opportunity for the Regents this year to build in the back half of the season towards a playoff spot.
