With some rule changes up for discussion and renewed debate on competitive equity, there's plenty going on at the ongoing WIAA area meetings that impact high school sports.
Travis Wilson of WisSports.net attended Wednesday's meeting at Mauston, the third of seven area meetings scheduled around the state. A competitive equity discussion broke out, something that wasn't really covered at previous area meetings in the eastern part of the state. Also, a possible new timeline for the WIAA to vote on the WFCA's football-only conference realignment proposal was revealed as well.
Travis also previews Week 5 of the high school football season statewide.
