It was Monona Grove's defense, which limited the Oregon Panthers to 10 yards in the first half, and Jalen Ostrowsky's 200-yard game that gave the Silver Eagles a big Badger South Conference-opening win on Friday night, 21-7.
The defense racked up a sack and an interception, while Ostrowsky also scored twice in the game. Ethan Beenher also added a touchdown and 83 yards rushing as the Silver Eagles ran for over 300 yards in the game.
Oregon struggled to move the ball, throwing for 55 yards while rushing for 62 yards in the loss. The defense came up with one interception as well.
