Wisconsin Heights football team aids in flood relief efforts

With the major flooding impacting Mazomanie and Black Earth, as well as other parts of Dane County, the Wisconsin Heights athletic programs began a drive to help out their communities during and after the flooding.

Vanguards football coach Jeff Supernaw describes the efforts of his program, as some of the players were directly impacted by the major flooding in the area. He also tells us about the initial reaction to the news and images of the flooding, and how Wisconsin Heights raised money and supplies to help those in need because of the floods.

The Vanguards played Thursday night and won, and now enjoy a bye week over Labor Day weekend to re-set after a long, emotional week.

This week's Prep Spotlight will air on The Prep Report Thursday night at 6:45pm and during halftime of our Madison Taxi Game of the Week.
