Madison Memorial head coach Mike Harris begins his Spartans coaching career with a huge season-opening win over Sun Prairie, 32-26, and praised the resiliency of his team for battling back in a back-and-forth game.
Harris talked about how each set of adversity presented in the game, including a close call as the first half expired when Sun Prairie got a 33-yard touchdown pass as time expired, was a learning opportunity for his program. He also took a moment to take in the big win and discussed some of the things he told his team after the game.
