Wisconsin's secondary will have plenty of new names to learn, and there are no shortage of young, talented Badgers, such as cornerback Caesar Williams, that could step into significant roles right away in 2018.
Williams tells Matt Lepay that he's focused on getting better, even though there will be opportunities to fill significant roles on the Badgers' defense. With so many new starters this year, especially in the secondary, Williams could see the field more often than last year.
In terms of the cornerback position, Williams describes the mentality that goes with playing the spot on the field, citing confidence as a big factor in success on the defensive edge. Also, in practicing against Wisconsin's deep receiver group, Williams believes that it's given the Badgers' corners a look at some of the best in the country.
