Waunakee is going for their first-ever state title in baseball, and coach Spencer Lee previews the match-up with Arrowhead. Lee will coach his son, Derek, a senior, in Thursday's Division 1 championship game at 6 p.m.
While the Warriors had to deal with a high-scoring quarterfinal and an 11-inning semifinal, Lee isn't worried about his pitching, saying the team has been prepared for this situation all year and has developed excellent depth.
Lee is happy with the community support, and is embracing the challenge of facing a team as good as Arrowhead for a championship.
