Kenosha used four pitchers to shut out Lakeshore 1-0, while Madison dropped a road contest at Green Bay and Eau Claire was blanked by La Crosse in Thursday night Northwoods League play.
Kenosha 1, Lakeshore 0
The Kenosha Kingfish used four pitchers to shutout the Lakeshore Chinooks in a close 1-0 game. Lakeshore threw two pitchers and only allowed the one run. Kenosha’s run came unearned in the third after Mike Madej (Northwest Florida State) singled and the third baseman committed an error.
La Crosse 2, Eau Claire 0
The La Crosse Loggers stayed hot, scored two in the third and defeated the Eau Claire Express 2-0.
Green Bay 9, Madison 6
The Green Bay Bullfrogs used a big opening inning to defeat the Madison Mallards 9-6. Green Bay got things going with right away with five runs.
