Shane Wimann offered both pass-catching production and blocking ability during his time as a tight end at Northern Illinois.
Wimann caught 17 touchdowns as a Husky, setting the team record for touchdown grabs by a tight end in a season with seven in 2017. The 17 TDs are also a team record for a tight end. More of his statistical achievements are noted here.
The Wisconsin Dells native might not necessarily have the size to be a full-time tight end in the NFL, but projects as an H-back for teams who utilize the position. While the touchdown catches are a nice measure to quantify part of his value, Wimann's best asset is as a blocker.
