Waunakee appeared in control for much of the first half, leading 38-30 with 3:38 to play in the first half. From that point on, it was all Kaukauna.
Doomed by a scoreless stretch that lasted seven minutes and 30 seconds, Waunakee gave up a 25-0 run in the middle of the game, which allowed Kaukauna to take the lead and never look back. Jordan McCabe dazzled with an array of passes, en route to a WBY Shootout-record 15 assists, while Kaukauna as a team set a WBY Shootout record with 101 points scored in the win.
Waunakee falls to 8-1 on the season.
