Madison swept Kenosha in the weekend, while Lakeshore and Eau Claire earned splits heading into the NWL All-Star break.

Saturday: Madison 8, Kenosha 2
The Madison Mallards retook the lead in the sixth and never looked back as they defeated the Kenosha Kingfish 8-2. The Mallards tied it in the fifth from a sac fly and took the lead with a pair in the sixth including an RBI double by Cole Daily (Notre Dame). Doran Turchin (Illinois) led off the seventh with a home run and Zac Taylor (Illinois) went deep for three in the eighth. The Mallards then got the side to go down in order in the ninth to end the game.
Sunday: Madison 9, Kenosha 2
The Madison Mallards used two four-run innings to defeat the Kenosha Kingfish 9-2. Madison went ahead four in the fourth from a grand slam by Zac Taylor (Illinois).
5-6 Second Half (2 GB), 27-19 Overall, 1.5 games ahead inthe South Division Wild Card standings
Saturday: Lakeshore 3, Green Bay 2
The Lakeshore Chinooks walked it off in the bottom of the ninth as they defeated the Green Bay Bullfrogs 3-2. With two outs and one on in the bottom of the ninth and the Frogs up by one, Jacob Richardson (Southern Arkansas) hit a two-run home run to win the game for Lakeshore.
Sunday: Green Bay 6, Lakeshore 5
The Green Bay Bullfrogs took the lead in the eighth and held off a late rally by the Lakeshore Chinooks as they won 6-5. Lakeshore came within one in the top of the ninth from a two-out RBI single by Nick Gatewood (Georgia State), but the next batter grounded out to end the game.

Saturday: La Crosse 12, Eau Claire 4
The La Crosse Loggers poured it on early and often against the Eau Claire Express as they won 12-4.
Sunday: Eau Claire 5, La Crosse 4
The Eau Claire Express hung onto a one-run lead for the final four innings as they defeated the La Crosse Loggers 5-4. La Crosse got two back in the fifth which included Lee’s second RBI single, but both bullpens threw scoreless baseball. Jason Seever (Arizona) threw the final 4.1 scoreless for the Loggers, but didn’t get any run support. Three pitchers threw the final four scoreless for Eau Claire as Victor Chavez (Scottsdale CC) earned his sixth save.
6-6 Second Half (3 GB), 21-27 Overall, 4 GB Wild Card
