Wisconsin sent several players into the NFL during and after this year's NFL Draft. Here's where they all went!
-Wisconsin Linebacker T.J. Watt was the first player off the board from the Badgers, as he was drafted to the Pittsburgh Steelers. While this caused some angst for Packers fans, Watt ends up in a great situation on a franchise historically great at developing linebackers. Watt is a Pewaukee, Wisconsin native.
-Wisconsin Offensive Lineman Ryan Ramczyk was taken just two picks later by the New Orleans Saints. Ramczyk, a transfer from UW-Stevens Point, is expected to add depth to a solid Saints offensive line. Ramczyk is a Stevens Point, Wisconsin native.
-Wisconsin Linebacker Vince Biegel was drafted in the fourth round (108th overall) to the Green Bay Packers. Biegel was the fourth consecutive pick on defense for Green Bay. Biegel is a native of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
No other Wisconsin Badgers went in the NFL Draft, but a few more have caught on with NFL teams as undrafted rookie free agents.
-Wisconsin Cornerback Sojourn Shelton will join the Arizona Cardinals.
-Wisconsin Running Back Corey Clement is heading to the Philadelphia Eagles, who already boast former Badgers Beau Allen and Chris Maragos.
-Wisconsin Running Back Dare Ogunbowale is the newest member of the Houston Texans. They've got a former Badger named J.J. Watt.
-Wisconsin wide receiver Rob Wheelwright will be heading to Carolina.
-Wisconsin quarterback Bart Houston will try out for the Oakland Raiders.
-Wisconsin safety Leo Musso has not signed on anywhere, but did offer congrats to his teammates.
