Games for Wednesday, January 11
Men's Basketball at Whitewater (7pm): #21 Whitewater (11-2, 0-2) begins the year 0-2 in conference play, and it doesn't get any easier as they faced the top-ranked team in the WIAC, #7 River Falls (12-1, 2-0), on Wednesday night.
Women's Basketball at River Falls (7pm): #21 Whitewater (12-1, 2-0) will head to the opposite end of the state for a showdown with River Falls (5-8, 0-2).
Men's Basketball at La Crosse (7pm): #10 Eau Claire (11-2, 1-1) will look to avoid the upset bug against La Crosse (9-4, 1-1), who already defeated Whitewater in the conference opener.
Women's Basketball at Eau Claire (7pm): Both Eau Claire (7-6, 1-1) and La Crosse (6-7, 0-2) are trying to stay in the mix in the conference and WIAC Tournament race.
Men's Basketball at Platteville (7pm): Each team is looking for a rebound win as both Oshkosh (8-5, 1-1) and Platteville (7-6, 0-2) lost on Saturday.
Women's Basketball at Oshkosh (7pm): The #13 Titans (12-1, 2-0) will have to fend off the young and pesky Pioneers (5-8, 1-1) in a home game.
Men's Basketball at Stevens Point (7pm): After losing 34 straight conference games, #RV Stout (11-2, 2-0) has now won two in a row, including coach Eddie Andrist's 200th victory, and is back in the D3Hoops.com poll's receiving votes category. They take on Stevens Point (7-5, 1-1), who last week learned that their head coach would be suspended for the year and will take on a post-season ban this season.
Women's Basketball at Stout (7pm): Stevens Point (9-4, 1-1) fell out of the receiving votes category after dropping a game to a top 25 squad, but remains very good as they battle Stout (5-8, 1-1).
