Chris Young wasn’t done partying with his famous friends… So, the “Losing Sleep” artist extended his Famous Friends album. The new deluxe edition includes 20 tracks, packed with collaborations with Kane Brown, Mitchell Tenpenny, Old Dominion, Jimmie Allen and Cassadee Pope. Young released his new project on Friday (June 3). Young announced on his social media channels: “Famous Friends was such a fun album to make, but I thought we should keep the party going…so here’s the Deluxe Edition…with some help from some more Famous Friends.”
Young has been posting teasers of the new songs on Famous Friends (Deluxe Edition), drumming up anticipation with a countdown throughout the week. Four days ahead of the extended project’s release date, Young shared a sneak peek of his track with Allen, a song called “Music Note.” Young previously dropped his collaboration with “I Was On A Boat That Day” band Old Dominion, and confirmed that he and Pope put a new spin on their smash-hit duet, “Think of You.” It’s one of two acoustic tracks, along with “I’m Comin’ Over,” the title track of Young’s 2015 album.
